Our Story
Over the past few years, we have worked closely with growers in the cut cymbidium industry to research effective, chemical-free ways to control the slug Ambigolimax valentianus. This collaboration resulted in the development of Backie, a highly effective, pesticide-free slug trap. Backie is the first step in our broader mission. We are committed to creating practical, forward-thinking solutions to help the horticulture sector prepare for tomorrow's challenges. Sustainability, efficiency, and smart design lie at the heart of everything we do.
Our team consists of four enthusiastic designers, all of whom studied Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. Thanks to our education and hands-on experience in sustainable pest control in flower cultivation, we approach product development from multiple perspectives, bearing in mind people, processes, and the environment at all times.
